Announcing the NIFW Gotham Fellowship 2023-2024

The Nashville Institute for Faith and Work is excited to announce the 2023-2024 class for The Gotham Fellowship! Please join us in praying for each of our Fellows as we kick off the year together with an Opening Retreat on August 25 & 26th.

Meet the NIFW Gotham Fellowship Year 9 Cohort:

Cohort Bios:

Angela Bourn

Angela Bourn moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University. After graduating from Vanderbilt, she stayed in the Nashville area to serve in the healthcare industry. She currently serves as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. She and her husband Patrick attend Southpointe Community Church.

Patrick Bourn

Patrick Bourn attended Belmont University and calls Nashville home with his wife Angela. He works as a music teacher for a local school district in Franklin, TN. He and his wife Angela attend Southpointe Community Church.

Wes Charlton

Wes Charlton moved to Nashville in 2015 for work. His vocational background is in Industrial Engineering and Healthcare Leadership and Innovation. Wes and his family attend Christ Presbyterian Church, Cool Springs.

Chris Coleman

Chris Coleman moved to Nashville to pursue his wife. He is an executive manager for a healthcare services company. He and his family attend Christ Presbyterian Church, Old Hickory Blvd.

Courtney Miller

Courtney Miller attended Vanderbilt University for undergrad and loved the city so she remained in the area. She served as a lawyer for 7 years before moving into the marketing and funeral service space. She and her family attend Christ Presbyterian Church, Old Hickory Blvd.

Jon Mings

Jon Mings is the owner and managing member of his healthcare company. He and his family attend Christ Presbyterian Church, Old Hickory Blvd where they’ve attended for 8 years.

Ruth Pavey

Ruth Pavey relocated to Nashville in 2017 when her husband took a job in the area. She has 20+ years of classroom teaching experience, including time teaching in England. Ruth and her husband attend Christ Presbyterian Church, Cool Springs.

Kathleen Rall

Kathleen Rall moved to Nashville in 2011 to pursue a Master’s degree at Vanderbilt University in Higher Education. She remained in the area and has worked at Vanderbilt University since 2013. She attends Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Artem Smith

Artem Smith is in his second year, serving as Resident in the Student Ministry at Christ Presbyterian Church. In May of 2022, he earned a Bachelors Degree from Belmont University in Political Science and Spanish. Artem is “from a lot of places, including Russia,” and is passionate about the Lord, people, and experiences.
